Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the flash point of 168°C classification as a flammable liquid according to the CLP Regulations (EC) No 1272/2008 and the Dangerous Substance Directive 67/548/EC is not necessary.

Based on the absence of structural alerts and based on experience in handling, the substance does not have to be classified as a pyrophoric liquid or as a substance which in contact with water emit flammable gases under the CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 and the Dangerous Substance Directive 67/548/EC.
