Description of key information

Based on an oral gavage 28-day study the NOAEL is considered to be 100 mg/kg bw. In this study groups of 10 male and 10 female Colworth Wistar rats aged 4 weeks were dosed via gavage with 0, 10, 100 or 1000 mg test substance/kg bw/day in corn oil for 28 days (personal communication with the lead registrant).

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the results from the 28 days oral repeated dose toxicity study the substance does not need to be classified and labelled according to CLP 1272/2008/EC (based on personal communication with the lead registrant).
