Adsorption
The estimated low Koc values of the parent compound and the hydrolysis product indicate that adsorption to soils or sediments is not expected (BASF, 2009; BASF 2010).
Henry's Law Constant
The hydrolysis product pivalic acid will not evaporate into the atmosphere from the water surface (Khan & Brimblecombe, 1992).
