The DSC analysis gave a small exotherm followed by a small endotherm,
broadly similar to that in the melting point test. The exotherm had an
onset temperature of 201.07°C and an energy of 17.69 J/g. This energy is
well below 500 J/g so would suggest that the test substance does not
show explosive properties. During the test fumes were evolved along with
a burning odour. The test substance started as a dark green liquid and
after the test the pan was found to have a blue/green substance on part
of the surface. This substance is not explosive.
