Additional information

The vapour pressure of 2-Methoxymethyl-p-phenylenediamine (MBB) was determined following the OECD 104 guideline.

Vapour pressure of the test material was determined by effusion method (vapour pressure balance) within the temperature range of 25°C to 82°C.

No vapour pressure of the test material was observed below approx. 60°C in effusion method. The vapour pressure ranged from 3.5 X 10-4 to 1.1 X 10-2 hPa, when measured at a temperature range of 63.7 to 82.4°C. These measurements were used to calculate vapour pressure at 20-50°C, using the Antoine equation.

The vapour pressure of the test material was (calculated using Antoine equation):

5.0 x 10-8hPa at 20°C

1.6 x10-7hPa at 25°C

3.7 x 10-5hPa at 50°C
