Additional information

The surface tension of 2-Methoxymethyl-p-phenylenediamine (MBB) was determined following OECD guideline 115 (OECD harmonized ring method).

Determination of surface tension was carried out with a tensiometer (10 measurements) in the temperature range of 20±0.5°C. 250 mL (1 g/L) of the freshly prepared test solution was used.

The surface tension of MBB was 70.86 mN/m at 20.2°C. As per EU method A.5, substances with a surface tension >60 mN/m should be regarded as not surface active.
