Under the conditions of the test, the pH of the test material was determined to be 8.9 at 20 °C. The study is considered to be reliable, relevant and adequate for risk assessment purposes.

The pH of the test material was determined in accordance with standardised guidelines ASTM E70-77 and EPA OPPTS 830.7000 using a potentiometric titrator and a glass combined electrode. Under the conditions of the test, the pH of the test material was determined to be 8.9 at 25 °C.
