Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The solubility of the test material was determined in a range of organic solvents at 25 ºC. The solutions were analysed using HPLC and the solid phase remaining in the dispersion of ethyl acetate was analysed by XRD. Under the conditions of the study, the solubility of the test material in acetone, dichloromethane, ethyl acetate, hexane, methanol, octanol and toluene was determined to be 17 g/L, 790 mg/L, 3.8 g/L, < 1 mg/L, 50 g/L 4.4 g/L and < 1 mg/L respectively. XRD analysis of the test material dispersion in ethyl acetate showed that the solid phase differed to the test material indicating that a change in the crystal structure of the test material may influence the solubility in solvents in which such a change occurs.

The study was performed in line with GLP and to sound scientific principles, following a procedure similar to that described in CIPAC method MT 157.3 (water solubility), with a high standard of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 and considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the test material.

The available data are considered complete and the results determined were taken forward for risk assessment.
