The melting/freezing points for the 5 aromatic sulphonic acids were all 30°C or below; the range was -23 to 30°C.

A medium value for Chemical Safety Assessment has been choosen, representing the real impact of those substances in environmental conditions. They are indeed very igroscopic, then deliquescents even below their melting point. The consequence is that most of them at 25°C are in fact liquid
