Additional information

Physical-Chemical testing was conducted by Slovnaft Vurup, a.s., Department of Testing Laboratories, in July and August 2010.

There are 5 aromatic sulphonic acids that were tested for physical-chemical properties in 2010. The appearance of those samples at 20C was:

Benzene sulphonic acid (CAS No. 98-11-3) - aqueous solution (ca 65%) as tested. Hygroscopic when dried.

Hydroxybenzene sulphonic acid (CAS No. 1333-39-7) - aqueous solution (ca 65%) as tested. Hygroscopic when dried.

Cumene sulphonic acid (CAS No. 37953-05-2) - aqueous solution (ca 65%) as tested. Hygroscopic when dried.

Xylene sulphonic acid (CAS No. 25321-41-9) - aqueous solution (ca 65%) as tested. Hygroscopic when dried.

Toluene sulphonic acid (CAS No. 104-15-4) - monohydrate crystal as tested. Hygroscopic when dried.
