Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The adsorption/desorption of MTDID 18990 was assessed through the estimation of the adsorption coefficient (Koc). Log Koc for two dimers (dimer 1 and dimer 2) with ≥ 10% of composition were calculated using the Technical Guidance equation for predominantly hydrophobic chemicals.  The calculated log Koc (unitless) values were 9.58 and 9.90 for the dimer 1 and dimer 2, respectively. Based on the adsorption coefficient, MTDID 18990 is expected to bind to soils and sediments. No Henry's Law constant was measured, but vapor pressure values were extrapolated to lower temperatures (25 °C) using measured values from two trials and the Antoine equation. The extrapolated vapor pressure values were <3E-05 mm Hg for one trial, and <4E-27 mmHg for the other trial. An extrapolated vapor pressure of 3E-05 mm Hg at 25 °C is used for the exposure modeling. The limited volatility indicates that distribution to the atmosphere is a minor fate for MTDID 18990 in the environment.
