Although the substance is toxic, and results form a n-octanol/water partitioning study resulted in a log Pow of 5.06, indicating the potential for bioaccumulation, no further studies are currently required, as
- the substance is only used in the 10 - 100 T/a tonnage band within the EU,
- is only used in a very few sites for formulation and subsequent re-export, and
- the substance is inherently biodegradable and therefore, non-persistent.
In conclusion, lacking the persistence criterion, the substance can neither be vPvB nor PBT.
