Description of key information

The vapour pressure of (3-Ammonio-4-methoxyphenyl)(2-hydroxyethyl)ammonium sulphate was 1.99 × 10 (-9),  4.20 × 10(-9) and 1.20 X 10(-7) hPa  at 20, 25 and 50°C respectively, calculated using Antoine equation (OECD 104).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of 3-Ammonio-4-methoxyphenyl)(2-hydroxyethyl) ammonium sulphate was determined following guideline the OECD 104 and the GLP.

Vapour pressure of the test substance was determined by effusion method (vapour pressure balance) within the temperature range of 28°C to 151°C.

No vapour pressure of the test substance was observed up to a temperature of 94°C and vapour pressure could be measured above 101°C.

The vapour pressure of the test substance was (calculated using Antoine equation):

1.99 × 10-9 hPa at 20°C

4.20 × 10-9 hPa at 25°C

1.23 × 10-7 hPa at 50°C
