Description of key information

The study does not need to be conducted because the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient (Log Kow 1.31) and the adsorption potential of this substance is related to this parameter.

However, for PNEC calculation a Koc of 19.4 was calculated according to Di Toro, 1985 ( A particle interaction model of reversible organic chemical sorption; Chemosphere 14(10):1503-1538).

Calculation formula: Adsorption coefficient per organic carbon (Koc): log Koc = 0.00028 + (0.983 x log Kow).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
19.4
