Description of key information

A non-GLP acute toxicity test conducted according to ASTM Standard E729-88 was available with Daphnia magna straus exposed to propylene glycol 
n-propyl ether.

A non-GLP acute toxicity study was conducted with the cladoceran, Daphnia magna exposed to propylene glycol n-propyl ether (PnP). This study was considered the key study and was rated a Klimisch score of 2. The 48- hr LC50 with Daphnia magna straus was > 100 mg/l, the highest concentration tested.
