Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Close analogues are readily biodegradable and it is considered unlikely that the registered substance will persist in the environment. Due to the low water solubility the potential of the substance to hydrolyse is considered to be low. Based on the physico-chemical properties (such as low water solubility) and high adsorption potential, soil is are expected to be the main target for environmental distribution (93.5 % predicted). However, due to the expected ready biodegradability, the substance will not persist in this compartment. As the substance has a low vapour pressure (0.00908 Pa at 20°C) and low water solubility (< 1 x 10E-6 g/L at 20 °C), little evaporation into air is suggested. However if emitted into the air the test item is susceptible to indirect photodegradation (DT50 = 2.241 hours, AOPWIN v1.92). The substance will not bioaccumulate based on a Log Pow > 10 and estimated BCF = 0.50 L/kg. Therefore, in accordance with REACH Annex VIII the substance is not bioaccumulative. The justification for read-across is presented in Section 13 Assessment reports - Read-across justification.
