Additional information

The substance is a white powder, which decomposes at 153°C before boiling. It has a density of 1.72 g/cm3, with a predicted vapour pressure values in the range of 2.08E-6 to 3.68E-7 Pa at 25ºC, suggesting that the substance is not volatile. The substance was reported to be freely soluble in water with a predicted n-octanol/water partition coefficient (log Kow) in the range of -2.382 to -1.9761. The substance is non-flammable, and does not possess oxidizing or explosive properties. Although the substance is not thermally stable, it presents only a low thermal stability hazard. Given its calculated dissociation constant of 12.13, which represents dissociation of the neutral molecules to form ions, the substance is expected to exist virtually exclusively in neutral, unionised form throughout the environmentally relevant range of pH 5 to pH 9.
