First-aid measures

- In case of inhalation: remove the subject from dusty environment and let him blow his nose.

- In case of skin contact: wash off with soap and water.

- In case of eye contact, remove contact lens and rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.  If eye irritation persists, consult a physician

- In case of ingestion: rinse mouth with water, do NOT induce vomiting, If symptoms persist, call a physician

Main symptoms and effects:

- by inhalation: Mechanical irritation from the particulates generated by the product

- in case of skin contact: May cause skin irritation and/or dermatitis

- in case of eye contact: Dust contact with the eyes can lead to mechanical irritation. Redness

- in case of ingestion: Ingestion may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea

Individual protection measures

Respiratory protection:

- In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.

- In case of dust clouds, dust mask type P3.

- In case of decomposition (see section 10 SDS), use an air breathing apparatus with face mask.

Use only respiratory protection that conforms to international/ national standards (EN 143)

- Self-contained open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus (EN 137)
- Self-contained closed-circuit breathing apparatus compressed (EN 145)

Hand protection

- Protective gloves complying with EN 374.

Suitable material: Nitrile rubber, PVC, Neoprene gloves, butyl-rubber.

Take note of the information given by the producer concerning permeability and break through times, and of special workplace conditions (mechanical strain, duration of contact).

Eye protection:

- Tightly fitting safety goggles

- Use eye protection according to EN 166.

Skin and body protection:

- Wear work overall and safety shoes.
