Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to fish was tested in a 96 hours study according to the EPA OPP 72-1 guideline. The calculated LC50 was 775 µg/L. The NOEC was found to be 607 µg/L.

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test substance to fish was tested on Oncorhynchus mykiss in a GLP test using standard guideline (EPA OPP 72 -1). The test material was applied as aqueous solution (33 % w/w) at nominal concentration (active ingredient) of 0, 130, 223, 363, 607 and 1010μg /L (ten fish/conc) under static regime. Analysis of the test concentration was not carried out, hence the results are expressed as nominal concentrations. After 96h, 100% fish died at the highest concentration, while no toxicant-related mortality was found at lower treatments. The LC50 of the test substance was determined to be 775 µg/L. The NOEC was found to be 607 µg/L.
