The test substance is not inherently biodegradable (0% biodegradation after 28 days) and not readily biodegradable (-20 % biodegradation after 28 days exposure time) .Care should be taken in the interpretation of the result (ready biodegradability), due to the possible inhibitory nature of the test item to the sewage treatment micro-organisms used in the study.

The hydrolysis experiment demonstrate that FAT 20341/A TE is stable at pH 4, 7 and 9 at 25°C. The estimaed half-life of FAT 20341/A TE at 25°C is greater than one year.

The determination of the partition coefficient showed that the LogPow is less than -4.2 and therefore the substance is considered to have a low potential for bioaccumulation.

The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the test item has been determined to be less than 17.8 log10 Koc less than 1.25: These values indicate that FAT 20341/A TE has a very high mobility.
