Description of key information

Determination of the density of FAT 20341/A TE

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The determination was carried out using a gas comparison pycnometer, designed to be compatible with Method A3 Relative Density of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 109 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 02 October 2012.

Instrument:                             Gas comparison pycnometer (Multi-Pycnometer, Quantachrome, Syosset, N.Y., USA).

Calibration Sphere:                A stainless steel sphere with a calibrated known total volume
(Vcal= 56.559 cm3).

Gas:                                       Helium.

Conditions:                           All test item measurements were performed at 25.4 ± 0.5 °C.

Conclusion

The density of the test item has been determined to be 1.65 x 103kg/m3at 25.4 ± 0.5 °C.
