Description of key information

Calculated values for the vapour pressure on ZnDNNSA as well as on the acid and the barium salt are indicative for a very low vapour pressure (EPIWIN range 1.6E-26 to 1.9E-12 Pa, Watson correlation (for acid and BaDNNSA 3.3E-05 and 6.4E-12 respectively).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 Pa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The vapour pressure of ZnDNNSA is expected to be very low as is confirmed by a QSAR determination on the acid and BaDNNSA (according to the modified Watson correlation), as well as by QSARs with the EPIWIN model for ZnDNNSA, DNNSA and BaDNNSA. For the risk assessment on ZnDNNSA the vapour pressure will be set at <1E-08 Pa, which is the cut-off value for determination of fugacity in the ECETOC TRA model.
