Description of key information

In a test with the structural analog di C8-C10, branched, C9 rich, alkylnaphthalene sulphonic acid (DNNSA) , no mortality was observed at the highest attainable measured concentration of 0.28 mg/L. This is based on a nominal concentration of 10 mg/L. The results of this test will be used in a read-across approach towards Zinc bis(di C8-C10, branched, C9 rich, alkylnaphthalene sulphonate).

Additional information

The LC50 of the structural analogue is greater than 0.28 mg/L, the highest attainable concentration in the test medium (Wil 2013).
