Additional information

In accordance with the Column 2 adaptation, section 7.13 of Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, this study does need not be conducted if the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of its chemical structure (e.g. organic substances that contain oxygen, fluorine or chlorine and these elements are chemically bonded to carbon or hydrogen only). From the structural formula, it can be concluded that the substance does not contain any functional groups associated with oxidising properties. It is therefore considered to be justified to omit this study on the basis that it is scientifically unnecessary.

Justification for classification or non-classification

In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex I, Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, the substance does not require classification with respect to oxidising properties.

In accordance with the criteria for classification as defined in Annex VI, Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD), the substance does not require classification with respect to oxidising properties.
