Additional information

The octanol-water partition coefficient of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 107.

The Kow was determined using the shake flask method. Three experiments were conducted at room temperature with varying volume ratios of octanol:water (1:1 ratio for run 1, 1:2 ratio for run 2 and 2:1 ratio for run 3). For each experiment, the concentration of test material in each layer was quantified using calibration curves and UV/VIS spectroscopy.

Under the conditions of this study, the test material was found to have an octanol-water partition coefficient of 441.7 or a log Kow of 2.58.
