Description of key information

The test material has been determined not to have a boiling temperature below 360 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A study was conducted to assess the boiling point of the test material in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 103 and EU Method A.2 under GLP conditions.

The determination was carried out using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC); an aliquot of the test material was placed in a pierced crucible and subjected to a thermal program from 25 to 400 °C, increasing at 20 °C per minute. After heating to 400 °C, the residue had only lost approximately 65 % of its original weight.

Under the conditions of this study, the test material was found not to have a boiling point less than 360 °C.
