Description of key information

Sodium percarbonate consists of coarse-grained particles with diameters ranging mainly from 250 to 1000 µm and no particles with diameters below 75 µm.

Additional information

The particle size distribution of two samples of marketed sodium percarbonate was determined according to the method of the European Commission, Science Research and Development-Joint Research Centre. “Particle Size Distribution, Fibre Length and Diameter Distribution” Guidance Document, ECB/TM/February 1996. The test substance consisted of coarse particles and the majority of these particles had a diameter ranging from 250 to 1000 µm. Both samples contained virtually no particles with diameters below 75 µm.
