Weight of evidence approach based on two peer reviewed values from handbooks and a secondary reference indicating that Nitric acid is not flammable.

Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on public domain data it is concluded that Nitric acid is not flammable. Furthermore, based on the daily use and handling of Nitric acid, it is concluded that this substance has no pyrophoric properties and is not flammable in contact with water.
