Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VII, section 7.11, the determination of explosiveness does not need to be conducted as there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in lithium hydroxide  anhydrous and lithium hydroxide monohydrate (refer to Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment, Chapter R.7a).

In accordance with Annex I, Section 2.1 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and UN GHS Rev 7 (2017) the substance has not to be classified as explosive in class 1.
