Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

2010-04-20 - 2010-04-21
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study

according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 110 (Particle Size Distribution / Fibre Length and Diameter Distributions)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:

Size:
>= 10.05 - <= 20.96 µm
Distribution:
ca. 7.93 %
No.:
#7
Size:
>= 1 - <= 10.05 µm
Distribution:
ca. 3.96 %
Conclusions:
All measured values show good reproducibility, giving deviations of less than 10% within the three determinations
The graphs of the particle size distribution show that a considerable aliquot of 4%w/w particles smaller than 10µm is present in the test material.

No observations wer made which might caus doubts concerning the validity of the study result. Therefore the result can be considered valid.

Description of key information

Partice size distribution was determined according to ISO 13327-2 (OECD 110; fixed pipette method).
