Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study does not need to be conducted. However, a vapour pressure of 5.92 * 10-6 Pa (25 °C) was calculated using Episuite (MPBPVP v1.43; Modified Grain method). Based on that calculation a limit value of 0.001 Pa at 25 °C were selected as key value for chemical safety assessment for the solid substance. However, for aqueous NaTG solutions the key value for chemical safety assessment is based on the study conducted by Tremain (2008) with monoethanolamin thioglycolate 83% in water (MeaTG 83).
