Description of key information

Vapour pressure: negligible (read-across from citric acid)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A vapour pressure value of 2.21E-6 Pa at 25°C for citric acid is reported in a collection of reliable data which has been subject to peer-review and in which the original data sources are traceable. The result is considered to be reliable. The vapour pressure of a metal salt is expected to be lower than that of the parent acid and, therefore, the vapour pressure of tripotassium citrate can be said to be negligible.
