Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The EC50/72 hours of androstanolone acetate (ZK 5180) in the green algae Desmodesmus subspicatus was 0.06 mg/L.
Executive summary:

The green algae Scendesmus subspicatus (=Desmodesmus subspicatus) were incubated with ZK5180 at different concentrations between 0.02 and 1.39 mg/L over aperiod of 72 hours. Cell density was measured daily using a fluorescence photometer.

All teratment groups showed a concentration-related inhibiotion of growth. The EC50/72 hours for the specific growth rate was determined with 0.06 mg/L (95% conf interval 0.01 -0.14 mg/L).
