Reliable short-term toxicity data for freshwater organisms are available for three trophic levels: aquatic invertebrates, fish and algae:

EC50 (48 h) daphnia magna: 1.48 mg/L (EC C.2/ OECD 202, GLP)

LC50 (96h) fish: 0.83 mg/L (EC C.1/ OECD 203, GLP)

EC50 (72h) algae: >1.78 mg/L (EC C.3/OECD 201, GLP); NOEC: 1.78 mg/L

The lowest acute effect value within the three trophic levels was a 96-h EC50 of 0.83 mg/L observed for the effect of SymHelios 1031 on the toxicity to fish.

Results on toxicity to microorganisms:

EC50 (respiratory inhibition): > 1,000 mg/L (EC C.11/ OECD 209, GLP); NOEC: ≥1,000 mg/L
