A measured flash point of 59.5°C was determined for the substance using the ISO 3679 test method in study conducted in compliance with a known quality system (ISO9001). The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.
In a supporting study, a measured flash point of 61°C was determined for the substance using ASTM D56 test method. Although, full details are not available, the result is considered to be reliable.
A measured flash point of 59.5°C and a predicted boiling point of 180°C indicate that the substance should be classified as a flammable liquid (Category 3) according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
