Based on the short term aquatic toxicity results (10 -100 mg/L) and the results of the biodegradation testing (not biodegradable), the substance will be classified as hazardous to the aquatic environment (Aquatic chronic 3, H 412).

Long-term testing on invertebrates (daphnia magna) did not result in a need for classification in to categories 1 or 2 of chronic aquatic toxicity.
