Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

For this endpoint, the read across between PWH/ammonium and PWH/sodium salt is valid and therefore the waiving.

The read across justification is attached on section 13 of the dossier.

Based on Reach regulation ANNEX IX column 2 " These studies do not need to be conducted if direct and indirect exposure of the soil compartment is unlikely. In the absence of toxicity data for soil organisms, the equilibrium partitioning method may be applied to assess the hazard to soil organisms."

Considering physico-chemical properties and the intended uses of the substance, a relevant exposure of terrestrial organisms is unlikely. Tests in terrestrial organisms were therefore considered not to be necessary.
