Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
- Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
- Skin contact: Use waterless hand cleaner. Then wash with lots of water and soap.
- Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also, under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Consult a physician.
- Ingestion: Do not induce vomitting. Call a physician immediately
Note to physician: The acute toxicity of this product by oral, inhalation or skin exposure is considered to be low.
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, Foam, Sand, Dry powder
- Specific hazards during firefighting: In the event of fire and/or explosion do not beathe fumes. Burning produces irritant fumes. Heating can release hazardous gases. Chlorine (Cl2). Hydrogen chloride gas. Special protective equipment for firefighters.
- Wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing appartus. In the event of fire and/or explosion do not beathe fumes.
Accidental release measures
- Environment precautions: Prevent product from entering drains. Do not flush into water or sanitary sewer system. Avoid suboil penetration.
- Methods for cleaning up: Remove all sources of ignition. Stop leak at source. Keep people away from and upwind of spill/leak. Contain material using temporary measures such as san bags, booms or adsorbent socks. Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder, sawdust). Never return spills in original containers for re-use. Spilled product should be disposed of in accordance with all applicable government regulations. Clean-up methods - smalls spillage. Soak up with inert absorbent material. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
- Handling: Use only in well-ventilated areas. Wear personal protective equipment. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
- Storage: Requirement for storage areas and containers: Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place. Store in original container. Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.

Exposure controls / personal protection
- Protective measures: Avoid contact with skin, eye and clothing. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
- Engineering measures: Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.
- Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety gloves. Face-shield
- Hand protection: Impervious gloves
- Skin and body protection: Protective suit. Solvent-resistant apron and boots. Remove and was contaminated clothing and gloves, including the inside, before re-use.
- Respiratory protection. In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment. Air-purifying respirator with NIOSH classification N-95 filter or P-95 (or equivalent) of oil/liquid aerosol are present (42 CFR 84).
Stability and reactivity
Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Disposal considerations
Do not dispose of waste into sewer. Dispose according to local regulations.
