Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

One experimental study is available investigating the effects of Fatty acids, vegetable-oil, esters with dipropylene glycol (CAS 95009-41-9) to the freshwater algae Desmodesmus subspicatus (Muckle, 2014). The study was performed according to OECD 201 as a limit test. A test substance concentration of 1000 mg/L was prepared as water accommodated fraction (WAF) and the corresponding loading rate was tested. Chemical analysis by GC could not quantify the substance in the test solutions as the measured concentrations were below the Limit of Quantification (LOQ; 0.066 mg/L). The growth rate of algae was not inhibited after 72 h resulting in a NOELR of ≥ 1000 mg/L (corresponding to ≥ 66 µg/L based on the LOQ) and an EL50 of > 1000 mg/L (corresponding to > 66 µg/L based on the LOQ).
