Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In both studies on ready and inherent biodegradability a degradation rate of 100 % was determined within 28 days for the test substance.
In a third study the substance is considered to be readily biodegradable with 63.9 % degradation observed in 28 days. With the average percent degradation of 59.8 % after 14 days the 10-day window might probably be fulfilled.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

The test substance showed 100 % biodegradation after 28 days and therefore has to be classified as "Readily Biodegradable".

The GLP study on ready biodegradability is used as key study for this endpoint.
