Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance was shown to be extremely insoluble in n-octanol.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a GLP compliant study, performed according to EU method A.8, the test substance was shown to be extremely insoluble in n-octanol (Shell Research and Technology Centre, 1997). Therefore it can be concluded that the octanol-water partition coefficient cannot be obtained. However, it is reasonable to expect that the test substance, due to its low solubility in both octanol and water, will have a low potential to bioaccumulate.
