Additional information

The test substance is a reddish brown powder. The melting point and boiling point are >600°C and therefore, vapor pressure and flash point could be waived. The density at 20°C is 3.8 g/m3 . The calculated partition coefficient between n-octanol and aqueous phase could not be determined due to the extremely low solubility of the test substance in both water and n-octanol. The water solubility of the test substance is determined to be < 1.0 mg/L iron at 20°C and its solubility in organic solvents is lower than 10 mg/L at 20°C. The surface tension of aqueous solution at 20 °C is 70.5 mN/m at 0.45 g/L solution. The auto flammability temperature of the test substance is > 400°C and the test substance is not highly flammable, not explosive and has no oxidizing properties. Therefore, classification of the test substance is not needed according to the Directive 67/584/EEC and according to the EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
