Additional information

One experimental study with the analogue substance N-ethylethanamine (CAS 109-89-7) performed according to the OECD guideline 301 C indicated that the test substance is readily biodegradable after 28 d. Therefore, and in accordance with the Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, Annex VIII Column 2, further information on abiotic hydrolysis is not required. Considering the high water solubility (510 g/L) and low vapour pressure (4.6E-4 Pa at 20 °C) the substance is considered to distribute mainly in the water column. The substance has a low potential for adsorption to organic soil and sediment particles based on the low log Kow value of -1.3 (at 20°C).
