Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

Findings:

Safety Pre-Test:

A small amount of the test item was heated on a magnesia groove with a gas burner. Glowing was observed. The test item showed no signs of ignition.

Preliminary screening test:

The test item was heated with the flame of a teclu burner. Glowing was observed during heating. No ignition occurred within two minutes.

Determination of Burning rate:

Not carried out as the test item showed no ignition.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
FAT 21015/C should be considered as not highly flammable.
Executive summary:

The flammability of the test substance was evaluated in a study conducted according to EU Method A.10. The substance did not ignite or propagate combustion when exposed to a burning flame along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period. Hence, FAT 21015/C should be considered as not highly flammable.
