The test substance was found not to self-ignite below 400°C. - Executive summary:
The autoflammability of the test substance was determined in accordance with EU Method A.16. A mesh cube was filled with test substance by tapping gently and adding more until the cube was full. The cube was then suspended in the center of a furnace at room temperature. The temperature of the furnace and sample were then continuously recorded while the temperature of the furnace was increased at a rate of 0.5°C/min to 400°C.
There was no exothermic reaction of the test substance, indicating that it does not self-ignite below 400°C.
