The vapour pressure was measured
in accordance with OECD guideline 104. A quantity of test substance (0.9
g) was added to a furnace and the apparatus assembled and evacuated.
After stabilisation the furnace temperature was then raised in steps of
approximately 3ºC and measurements taken. Two runs were conducted
between temperatures of 20 and 39°C. Mass differences and the sample
temperature were monitored on a chart recorder on every occasion that
the shutter was opened. Vapour pressure was calculated from the data.
The test substance was found to have a vapour pressure of
0.017 Pa at 25°C.
0.017 Pa at 25°C
