Additional information

The acute toxicity of the test material to Oncorhynchus mykiss was investigated in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 203, EU Method C.1, EPA OTS 797.1400 and EPA OPPTS 850.1075 under GLP conditions. The study was awarded a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

Rainbow trout were exposed to the test material for 96 hours at a limit concentration of 100 mg a.i./L under semi-static conditions. There were no sub-lethal effects of exposure observed in the 30 fish exposed.

Under the conditions of this study, the 96 h LC50 was greater than 100 mg ai/L. Correspondingly the No Observed Effect Concentration (NOEC) was 100 mg ai/L.
