First-aid measures

Inhalation:
In case of exposure, move casualty to uncontaminated area and obtain medical advice.

Eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 min.
Obtain medical advice if there are persistent symptoms.

Skin contact:
Take off contaminated clothing and wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.

Ingestion:
Obtain medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:
Carbon dioxide, foam and/or chemical powder, water.

Unsuitable extinguish media:

Protective equipment:
Breathing apparatus and eyes protection devices for firefighters.

Accidental release measures

Personal protections:
Wear personal protective equipment reported in section 'Exposure controls / personal protection'.
Moisten the dry product to avoid dust formation.

Environmental precautions, clean up and recover:
Prevent soil contamination. Keep out of drains and water courses.
In case of contamination inform local Authorities.

Recover absorbed material and contain it into tightly closed container.

Dispose of in accordance with local regulations (see section 'Disposal considerations').

Moisten the dry product to avoid dust formation. Accurate ventilation/suction in work place. Keep containers closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure control:
Wash hands before and after every handling; provide showers and eye washing devices in work places; avoid dust formation. Handling in well ventilated place. Observe normal personal hygiene rules.

Respiratory protection:
In case of dry product dusts use filter mask for short exposures or breathing apparatus for prolonged exposures.

Hands protection:
Wear safety gloves.

Eyes protection:
Wear goggles.

Body protection:
Wear suitable clothing, long-sleeved clothing.

Environmental exposure control:
Adopt all technical precautions to avoid environmental diffusion.

Stability and reactivity

Stability:
The product is stable, hazardous reactions do not occur.
