Description of key information

The toxicity of the substance to aquatic invertebrates was evaluated in acute toxicity test on the freshwater cladoceran Daphnia magna, conducted in general accordance with established OECD and EU guidelines.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
100 mg/L

Additional information

The toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna was evaluated in a limit test; the 48-h LC50 for daphnids was reported as > 100 mg/L; due to the observation of a slight lethal effect and sublethal effects (e.g., swimming at intervals), the test concentration was not considered to be a NOEC.
