Additional information

Acute tests on all three trophic levels were performed on analogous substances to examine the aquatic toxicity. The L(E)C 50 values for fish, daphnia, algae and activated sludge were clearly above the water solubility in the respective studies.

Thus, the compound itself is considered not harmful to aquatic organisms in the range of its water solubility.

Acute toxicity to fish:

With high probability acutely not harmful to fish. No toxic effects occur within the range of water solubility.

Acute toxicity to aquatic invertebrates:

With high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic invertebrates. No toxic effects occur within the range of water solubility.

Toxicity to aquatic algae:

With high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic algae. No toxic effects occur within the range of water solubility.

Toxicity to microorganisms:

The inhibition of the degradation activity of activated sludge is not anticipated when introduced in appropriate low concentrations.
